The first Learner Approved Motorcycles Scheme was instroduced by RTA NSW on the 6th September 2002, following on from this successful trial, other States and Territories have also introduced LAMS.
Currently there are slight variations in the ACT LAMS list, however all States and Territories use the same basic LAMS list developed from the NSW LAMS list. Please always check the LAMS list in your home State or Territories for the latest information.
