Tom Sykes and Loris Baz were at the sharp end of competition on their Kawasaki Racing Team Ninja ZX-10R machines in Australia with Sykes leaving the first round with two fifth places and Baz one sixth.
KRT riders Tom Sykes and Loris Baz each had their first test sessions in Australia cut short after
crashes and now the riders and team are preparing to come back strong in a few days time.
Tom Sykes and Loris Baz experienced one wet day and one dry day in testing at Jerez, but also found improvements on their official Ninja ZX-10R machines in each of the contrasting track conditions.

Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) rode from pole to a convincing win in tricky drying conditionin race one at Portimao and in doing so took second place in the championship with only one round to go.
Kenan Sofuoglu turned a fourth place grid position into his fourth race win of the year on his Kawasaki Lorenzini Ninja ZX-6R and he was joined on the podium by Kawasaki Intermoto Step's Fabien Foret.
Loris Baz took his Kawasaki Racing Team Ninja ZX-10R to a race one victory and then secondplace in race two at Silverstone, on a day when Tom Sykes defended his third place in the pointstable.
Kenan Sofuoglu rode his Kawasaki DeltaFin Lorenzini Ninja ZX-6R to the race win at Misano and in doing so put himself into a 22 point lead. Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) had a highpoint of fourth in race one at Misano today but kept his third position overall.
