From Kawasaki Racing Team Press Release: As witnessed recently in Qatar, the KRT SB Evo team and rider David Salom proved victorious in the Evo series, which was run as an integral part of the overall World Superbike category in 2014. How this tough feat was managed despite some bad luck before the season had fully got into its stride is testimony to the abilities of the Ninja ZX-10R, David and all the personnel involved.

2013 FIM Superbike World Champion for Kawasaki, Tom Sykes, will continue his successful relationship with KRT and KHI for another two years after making a new agreement with the Japanese factory to be a key member of the overall Ninja ZX-10R racing project, both on and off-track.

The fourth race win of the year for Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) came after a long waiting game for the most successful racer in WorldSSP history. He took the lead with two laps to go and was never headed afterwards. Kawasaki Puccetti Racing riders still sit 1-2 in the FIM Supersport World Championship as Randy Krummenacher finished fifth in the race, scoring valuable points.

The seventh race of the FIM Supersport World Championship season was won by championship leader Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing), after 20 front-running laps of the 4.023km Donington circuit. Kenan’s team-mate Randy Krummenacher moved up from fifth in qualifying to third place in the race, his third podium in what is his first ever WorldSSP season.
