Jonathan Rea of the Kawasaki Racing Team has taken both races in round 5 of the 2015 World Superbike Championship, closely followed by team mate and former world champion Tom Sykes, who secured second for each race in Italy over the weekend.

In round 4 of the 2015 World Superbike Championship, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) made it six wins from eight starts since he joined Kawasaki for the Championship this year.

Jonathan Rea scored two emphatic race wins in the first ever WSBK races at the Chang International Circuit leaving the new venue with a ten point championship lead. Tom Sykes scored his first podium of the year with third place in race one and is now third in the championship rankings.

Tom Sykes To Remain With KRT For 2 More Years

Reigning World Champion Tom Sykes has recently signed an agreement to continue as an official Kawasaki Superbike World Championship rider for two more years, covering the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Brilliant Double 1-2 For Sykes & Baz

Tom Sykes and his Kawasaki Racing Team partner Loris Baz proved too strong for their opponents at Tom’s home round today, with Tom winning both 23-lap races and Baz second in each. David Salom (Kawasaki Racing Team SBK Evo) also won both Evo category races, by finishing overall tenth in each Donington race.
