Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Billy Mackenzie got his 2011 Super X Championship campaign off to a promising start, finishing the main event in 2nd place. Dean Ferris dominated proceedings in the Lites class throughout the evening until a final jump crash dashed his hopes of a podium finish, relegating him to 5th overall and Kawasaki rider, Meghan Rutledge rode well to qualify for the main event in the Under 19’s class.

Two of the three riders in the team which recorded the USA's seventh consecutive victory in the Motocross of Nations were riding Kawasaki. Ryan Villopoto was also the top inpidual at the event.
