Irvine, Calif. – Three weeks after wrapping up his third-consecutive Monster Energy Supercross championship, Ryan Villopoto kicked off the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a dominating 1-1 performance.

Irvine, Calif. – Monster Energy Kawasaki rolled the dice last night at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas as Monster Energy Supercross came to a close. Newly crowned Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto won his 10th main event of the season while Jake Weimer had his best result of the season in fourth. In the 250SX class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Tyler Bowers won his first main event in the East region, while Martin Davalos finished third in the Western regional main event and Tyla Rattray earned a top-10 finish in the West main event finishing ninth.

Kawasaki Mahi Racing Team India riders Kenan Sofuoglu and Fabien Foret were once more in the leading mix, with Kenan second and Fabien third at the Assen round. Fabien extended his championship lead.
Tom Sykes took a 1-2 today while his KRT partner Loris Baz pushed to take a fifth and then a first dry podium on his Ninja ZX-10R. Now ranked 4th, Tom shares the same points total as two other riders.
