Kawasaki rider Luke Burgess has extended his lead in the 2012 Australian Superbike Championship 250cc Production class with another round win on board his Kawasaki Ninja 250R at the 3rd round of the series at QLD Raceway last weekend.

In tough weather conditions, Burgess came away with 2-1-1 results to claim victory and extend his series lead to 22 points clear of fellow Ninja 250R pilot, Olly Simpson, who took out 2nd place behind Burgess at QLD.

Luke Burgess has won all three rounds of the new championship that is proving to be a very successful and anticipated series on Australia’s road racing calendar.
