Kawasaki Ninja 250R riders Luke Burgess and Olly Simpson have gotten their 2012 Australian 250cc Production Class Championship campaigns off to a successful start by taking 1^st and 2^nd respectively at the series opener at Phillip Island on Friday 24^th February.

After qualifying in pole position, Kawasaki's Racing Team's Tom Sykes scored a fourth and then a strong third place at Phillip Island on board his Ninja ZX-10R to go third in the championship rankings after the opening round of the 2012 WSBK championship.
