Kawasaki's Meghan Rutledge from Picton, NSW has raced to victory at the 3rd round of the 2014 FIM World WMX Championship in The Netherlands on board her KX250F. Two 2nd place moto finishes gave Rutledge the round win and moves her just 2 points shy of the series lead that she relinquished at the last round.

Tom Sykes scored a second place finish and then a fourth at Assen as he moved 12 points ahead of his closest competitor in the FIM Superbike World Championship. His team-mate Loris Baz was fourth and then seventh, while SBK Evo rider David Salom scored 12th and 15th.
