Top-five for Empire Motorsport at Australian Four-Day Enduro

Empire Motorsport racer Will Price has achieved an exceptional fifth-place result in the E1 class at the 2022 Australian Four-Day Enduro (A4DE) at Erica, VIC.

Price’s first-ever A4DE started on a rough note when he crashed hard on the final stage of day one and was taken to hospital to be checked over.

Cleared of any injuries, the Victorian returned and aboard his Kawasaki KX250X, continued to put down consistently fast top-five times throughout the remaining three days to finish the tough event with an impressive P5 result in the E1 and 14th outright.

“The four-day started a bit rough with a crash in the last test and ending up in hospital, but we regrouped and rebuilt over the remaining three days to finish with a good result,” Price commented. “This was my first four-day and a bit of an eye-opener, but I really enjoyed it. We’ll continue growing and progressing and come back stronger than ever next year.”

Also in the E1 class, Empire Motorsport's Sam Barton achieved a solid ninth-place result after four days of battling the elements and the varied special tests. A strong opening day and an impressive P6 result in the day four final moto helped him to a creditable top 10 performance.

Meanwhile, Empire Motorsport riders Jack Caughy and Jarrod Dillon finished P13 in E1 and P17 in E2 respectively, capping off a successful weekend for the team at its first-ever A4DE.
