Bergamo, Italy – August, 2025
Australia’s enduro elite have wrapped up a thrilling campaign at the 2025 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), with standout performances across all three Trophy categories and a breakout ride from Tasmanian sensation Kyron Bacon.
Held in the rugged terrain of Bergamo, Italy, the world’s oldest off-road motorcycle event saw Motorcycling Australia’s teams push hard until the final cross test. The MXstore-backed squads delivered two podium finishes: second in the Women’s World Trophy and third in the Junior World Trophy, while the Senior World Trophy team finished a respectable sixth in a fiercely competitive field.
Bacon Leads the Charge on Kawasaki
Kyron Bacon was the undisputed star of Team Australia’s ISDE effort. Riding his Kawasaki KX300X with precision and fire, Bacon climbed from 13th to sixth overall in the individual standings by the end of day six. He was second in the E2 class, and his day two performance—where he finished just 0.32 seconds behind Spanish legend Josep Garcia—set the tone for a week of world-class riding.
Bacon’s consistency and speed helped lift the Junior World Trophy team to a third-place finish, just over three minutes behind champions Italy.
Senior and Women’s Teams Show Grit
Australia’s Senior World Trophy team—Daniel Milner, Josh Strang, Jonte Reynders, and Jye Dickson—faced tough conditions throughout the week, including saturated trails and technical terrain. Despite the challenges, they finished sixth overall.
The Women’s World Trophy team of Jess Gardiner, Danielle McDonald, and Madison Healey fought back from early setbacks to claim second place, narrowly missing out on the top spot to the dominant American squad.
