Race Report – Koby Munro – HATTAH 2025
The Hattah Desert Race once again delivered a true test of endurance, speed, and mental strength — and Koby Munro rose to the occasion with a determined performance.
After missing his sight lap for prologue due to a spark plug failure, Koby quickly refocused and delivered a solid qualifying result, placing 6th in prologue. He carried that momentum into race day, battling through one of the toughest tracks on the calendar to finish 11th overall.
“The weekend didn’t start the way I hoped, but I stayed focused and just committed to riding my race,” said Koby. “I’m proud of how I pushed through, and really grateful to have had the support of Darren Holmes from Kawasaki Australia at the event — that meant a lot.”
Racing under the Team Green Australia banner, Koby once again demonstrated resilience, professionalism, and the competitive edge that defines the Kawasaki rider program.
What’s Next
Koby now shifts focus to the next key events on his calendar:
- The Victorian Off Road Championship, Mirboo North round
- Australian Enduro Championship rounds in Kyogle, kicking off in early September
Both events will be important steps in what’s shaping up to be a strong 2025 season for the young rider.
