Dylan Whiley Claims Overall Win at Opening TERC Grasstrack Round

Dylan Whiley kicked off the first round of the TERC Grasstrack Series with a strong performance in the 250 B Grade class. After securing the holeshot in both the opening races, he went on to finish P2 in each outing. In the final race of the day, Dylan grabbed another great start and crossed the line in P4, which was enough to secure him overall P1 for the day, a result he was extremely happy with.

Moving into the KOP heats, Dylan faced a highly competitive field of riders. In Heat 1, he got off to another strong start and exited the opening corner in 5th place. While running in 10th with just three corners remaining, he unfortunately washed the front end and dropped back to finish 14th, costing valuable points and making qualification for the KOP final much tougher.

In Heat 2, Dylan once again launched well from the gate but struggled to match the pace of the front runners, finishing in 13th place. At the end of the event, he qualified 27th out of 40 riders overall. Despite missing the final, Dylan remains focused and motivated, already identifying areas to improve ahead of the next round in four weeks’ time.

Dylan was also extremely pleased with the performance of the Kawasaki throughout the day, particularly its strong starts off the gate and consistent handling across the track conditions.
